VICTORIA FLORES, ASID
To me, the most exciting part of the design process is getting to know my clients and helping them find their own sense of style. Not their friend's or neighbor's, but a style that makes them the most comfortable in their own surroundings. Everyone has that sense of style, whether they know it or not. And my job is to help them discover it. This portfolio features just a few projects that reflect different homes that are unique as the people who reside in them.
FEATURED PROJECT:
Wichita State University President's Home |
In January 2001 I was invited by Shirley Beggs, First Lady of Wichita State University, to assist her with some changes to the Residence of the President. Little did I know that we would be embarking on a 10-year plan that would include a 2,000 sq. ft. addition and that we would repurpose some rooms multiple times. Join me on a pictorial journey that follows the transformation of this beautiful home.

Helten Home |
The owners of this beautiful home gave me two inspiration pieces to work with, along with a request that the design "stand the test of time."

This couple had been considering an addition to their exising home when they discovered this larger home a few blocks away. The interior needed updating but there was plenty of space for their antique furniture pieces and the floor plan was wonderful for entertaining. Here is a peek at some of our renovation process that turned an ordinary house into an extraordinary home. |
"I have used Accent
Interiors in three different homes over a period of 15 years and have
been nothing but extremely satisfied. I know what I like yet picking out
colors and fabrics is not my strength. Vicki and the entire staff make
the process fun vs. stressful without fear of making the wrong choice.
I enjoy coming home and the warmth I feel. It's also very nice when people
tell me how beautiful my home is. Thanks again Accent Interiors." - Pat |

Rustic Retreat |

After purchasing this acerage and mountain style home, this owner spent much of his free time landscaping this rustic retreat. The ponds, bridges and decks are incredible. When it was time for an interior face lift, we looked for backgrounds and finishes to compliment the style of the home and to enhance his collection of Native American art. |
"I very much enjoyed working with the staff of Accent Interiors on my most recent remodeling projects. Vicki and Patti were wonderful and the result was the look I was after!! Keep up the good work!" - Rod Staats |

This home had been developing in Jenean's mind for years. She and her husband designed this unusual floor plan to accommodate both the families of their five children and aging parents. There is no label or trendy word to describe this home style. The character, warmth, elegance and love of family of this couple are richly reflected in the home they created. |
"Vicki seemed to understand my tastes and was instrumental in creating the atmosphere and look I wanted. She helped streamline the interior design and selection process. Vicki guided color coordination and sourced furnishings, art and accessories." - Jenean |
